Modeling Addition with iPads

It’s that time of year in kindergarten when students are putting all of the things they’ve learned throughout the year into practice.  In Leslie Chapman’s kindergarten classroom at Spring Valley Elementary, they are modeling addition sentences using iPads and the app, Doodle Buddy.  With the help of Mrs. Chapman’s own iPad and her classroom Apple TV, the students are able to work along with her as she demonstrates how to build number sentences using the stamp and draw features.  The students are excited as they learn addition in a whole new way!
