I am ME

Mrs. Connell, an English teacher at Midway High School, has been working with her students on understanding the various concepts and principals of poetry. They recently created free-verse poems where Mrs. Connell provided sentence stems such as “I Am…, I think…, I wonder…” and the students had to complete the poem. The students then created a movie presentation that depicted not only understanding of the poetry project but also how they were able to personalize their learning experience.
