Poetry Through Photography

If an object could talk, what would it say about you? This was the question students in Mrs. Johnson’s and Mrs. Hagins’ 8th grade English classes had to answer. Students were encouraged to become photographers, poets and publishers.

The project challenged students to use their iPads to capture photos that spoke of their interests, goals and personality. Then through poetry the students entwined the two into a published format using the Pages app.
