Reading Skills Revamp

Reading Skills Revamp

Are your students tired of reviewing the same old skills? 3rd grade teachers at Castleman Creek Elementary, Amber Calderon and Rachel Harlow, found a way to make it exciting! They placed task cards around the room that reviewed important reading skills. Students read a passage and then progressed through the activities at their own pace. The tasks got students up and moving, creating, and collaborating! This is sure to be a project the students won’t forget! Check out the video below of this great project. Also, check out pdfs of the activity cards and checklists.
